Greater Atlanta Day Alumnae Chapter of Kappa Delta received the Outstanding Chapter Award

Atlanta Alumnae Panhellenic Association held their Spring Scholarship Luncheon, Silent Auction, Awards to individual sororities and Induction of New Officers at Dunwoody Country Club on Saturday, April 26, 2025. It was a a BIG day for Greater Atlanta Day Chapter and all the chapters and members of Kappa Delta in Atlanta. About 30 KD's were in attendance.

Cynthia Weston, Kappa Delta and author of the book Ordinary Miracles: 100 Years of Kappa Delta Sorority installed the new Panhellenic officers. Joy McVey tied the green and white colors of KD around the gavel to signify that as a Kappa Delta she was installed as President of Atlanta Alumnae Panhellenic Association. Greater Atlanta Day Alumnae Chapter is so very proud of her. Joy is very talented and smart and is going to be a wonderful President. 

Greater Atlanta Day Alumnae Chapter of Kappa Delta was presented the 2025 Outstanding Chapter Award given by Atlanta Alumnae Panhellenic Association!

Left to right, Violet Riggle, Kappa Delta at Kennesaw State University won the Rigby Duncan Collegiate Scholarship, Dot Mears accepted the Outstanding Alumnae Chapter award for GADAC of Kappa Delta and Sheila Vahey , a member of GADAC accepted the 2025 Carolyn Hester Outstanding Advisor Award for her service to the KD Chapter Eta Omega at Kennesaw State University.
